As a 2011 recipient of a Massachusetts Life Sciences Center Accelerator Award, Grove was invited to the Boston Foundation to participate in “Life Science Innovation as a Catalyst for Economic Development: The Role of the Massachusetts life Sciences Center,” on March 26, 2013. The meeting updated the MLSC’s progress in implementing Governor Deval Patrick’s $ 1 billion Life Sciences Initiative. - Center will provide $3.75 million to support five early-stage life sciences companies

Awarded Grants
Over the past 12 years Grove has been awarded approximately $7.8M for the development of their noninvasive glucometer from agencies such as the National Institue of Health and the Internal Revenue Service.
- September 2011 – Grove has received $998K for an SBIR Phase II grant titled “Development of a Fiberless Transflectance Noninvasive Glucose Monitor” from the NIDDK NIH
- March 2011 – Grove has received $100K from the NIDDK NIH for an SBIR i6 Challenge for the “Development of a Fiberless Transflectance Noninvasive Glucose Monitor”
- October 2010 – Grove has received $245K from the Internal Revenue Service for a Qualifying Therapeutic Discovery Project Grant, “Noninvasive glucose monitor for diabetic patients”
- September 2009 – Grove has received $185K SBIR Phase I grant for the “Development of a Universal Calibration Model Noninvasive Glucose Monitor” from the NIDDK NIH
- July 2009 – Grove has received $174K for an SBIR Phase 1 grant for the “Development of an Advanced Handheld Noninvasive Glucometer” from the NIDDK NIH
- October 2008 – Grove has received $2.89 M for an SBIR Phase II CRA grant from the NIDDK NIH for the “Development and Performance Evaluation of a Handheld Noninvasive Glucose Monitor”
